After a long “Vacation” Hout Bay’s cannons are back to defend Hout Bay at historic York Point. The 20th Sept 2013 was the day for the celebration of the event and also for our Heritage. Sadly Heritage Day has been hijacked by the boerewors boys so next year well be celebrating Heritage on the 18th April which is “WORLD HERITAGE DAY”, Cape Town is fortunate to have two World Heritage sites, so it is very appropriate. Sadly Chapman’s Peak Drive is the first entrance to the TM World Heritage Site that most tourists encounter, and yet it is not announced to visitors. It would be nice if SA would acknowledge that it is on the same Planet as the rest of the WORLD!.
